Mobile Radio
Hardworking communications for hardworking businesses
TeamTalk has launched RTmax, a new digital mobile radio network designed specifically for commercial users. RTmax brings the latest in mobile radio technology to New Zealand – a decade or more advanced than anything else in the country. RTmax is a bit like the 3G of the radio world and offers conventional and trunked radio services. It’s ideal for businesses looking to transition to digital mobile radio.
We provide a national communications service through two trunked mobile radio networks, FleetLink and ActionNet. Both networks offer sophisticated, robust platforms for mobile voice and data communications with a national coverage that is second to none.
TeamTalk provides life saving and mission-critical communications services to many industries including the emergency services, taxi companies, local and long distance road carriers, local authorities and Civil Defence.
TeamTalk also offers a conventional or single site mobile radio service, LocalNet. Available in shared channel and exclusive channel. LocalNet provides low cost, robust, localised mobile voice and data communications.
What is it and how does it work?
What is Mobile Radio?
Mobile radio is a proven mobile communications technology. It is a platform for business communications and essential services. It enables voice and data communications and can be integrated with GPS technology and the internet to give you hands-on control of your workforce and equipment.
It's the best of both worlds - the coverage and affordability of radio, with the privacy of a telephone call.
Mobile radio is about tools, not toys. Tools designed to get your work done.
Mobile radio works without wires, with repeater sites in safe, high locations all over the country. These sites have on-site standby equipment, including comprehensive emergency backup power supplies and generators.
